[photoaday] Days 24 & 25

For days 24 and 25, I was to show you the inside of my bathroom cabinet and then find something that's the color green.

Instead, I took a tour of my bathroom because the decor is green! I hope you enjoy.. it's not that exciting, and bathrooms are kind of strange to be showing off.

But I promise you that it was clean when I took these pictures!

The inside of our linen closet. These are not the only towels we own, I just hadn't finished laundry yet.

One of my better organizational days. I went to Dollar Tree and bought plastic baskets to put our crap in. Now I have a basket for all of my girly things, Joey has one for his manly things, one is full of soaps and lotions, and one has unmentionables and my fingernail polish.

Our pretty shower curtain. I actually had just bought it the night before on a whim. I love the bold print and the gray/green combination. And that rug! SO luxurious feeling on your toesies.

This is our other catch-all for junk. The top has all my perfumes, and the black cubbies have our go-to cold medicines, allergy pills, Icy Hot, etc. Don't worry, they aren't full.

Just relax ;)

The vanity. I wish this was bigger, but I guess I can't complain. It serves it's purpose! One of the things that I love about my apartment is just how white everything is. It just looks so fresh!

Do you see me being awkward and not wanting to be in the picture? Yeah, that's me!

The linen closet. And my mortal enemy, the scale.

So as you can tell, my bathroom looks like this always and if you just randomly come over one day it will be spotless for you. KIDDING, NO IT WON'T. Please don't do that!

[photoaday] Day 5: 10a

Well, looks like it didn't take me long to forget to take a picture. Day 4 was supposed to be a stranger, but it didn't happen. It's kind of funny too, because I was out all day. I was surrounded ALL DAY by strangers.

Oh well!

Today I woke up around 9:40a and was listlessly laying in bed, checking up on facebook and twitter. Someone posted their 10 am picture and I shot out of bed (quite unliterally) and was like OH YEAH I AM DOING THIS THING!

Day 5. 10a

This is the view from my bed. My desk. I love, love, love my desk! It's in the perfect little nook of our bedroom and I am in the process of filling it with all of my treasures.

Top Left: I found these at Hobby Lobby before I had an apartment to speak of. I love them! Top Right: My collection of trinkets, my digital camera and a picture of my mom (heart frame) and an old army pic of my dad (propped up against the lamp) Bottom Left: All of my hangables, 2 B's from the wedding, a medal I received in high school, the list of shows we watch in case we cancel DVR (ha) and a wall calendar devoted to my niece and nephew Bottom Right: My beautiful, wonderful, gorgeous mac. And a picture of my mom and dad at a wedding.

 

This stack is gone already (back on the bookshelf) and it wasn't ever even on my desk, but I love how it looks. I may have an iPad and the Kindle app, but I do love the feeling of holding a book and seeing them displayed on my bookshelf. I just thought this was a neat picture. :)
